The appointments come as the hotel prepares for its October 2025 rebrand from Millennium Downtown New York to M Social Hotel New York Downtown, marking its entry into the M Social portfolio as the second U.S. location after Times Square."
"Seremetis, who began his career with the José Andrés Group, has led food and beverage programs across the Bahamas, New York, and most recently at M Social Times Square. Ishibashi, known for his ingredient-driven and refined approach, has honed his craft in acclaimed kitchens including Uchi Dallas, Benoit New York, and Michelin-starred Claro in Brooklyn. The appointments precede the hotel's October 2025 rebrand from Millennium Downtown New York to M Social Hotel New York Downtown, becoming the brand's second U.S. location after Times Square. The rebrand will introduce the hotel's new restaurant, Beast & Butterflies. Seremetis began his career with the José Andrés Group and has led F&B programs across the Bahamas, New York, and at M Social Times Square. Ishibashi trained at Uchi Dallas, Benoit New York, and Michelin-starred Claro in Brooklyn. The hotel features 569 rooms, 98 suites, an on-site restaurant, and state-of-the-art meeting spaces, positioning itself as a contemporary lifestyle destination in the Financial District under the M Social brand.
