Hilary Duff confirmed that she is estranged from her older sister, Haylie, during an emotional interview. She released a new album, luck.. or something, and said the song 'We Don't Talk' is definitely about her sister, including lyrics about coming from the same home but growing apart. She described deep loneliness from not having her sister in her life and said she struggled with sharing the situation but chose to because it is her truth. She said she does not expect the song to mend the relationship and emphasized living independently and doing what feels good. A representative for Haylie Duff did not respond.
