Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk, has been appointed CEO and chair of the board for Turning Point USA. Charlie Kirk, the late CEO and co-founder, was shot and killed at an event last week. Charlie had previously expressed that he would want his wife to lead in the event of his death. Turning Point USA invoked Ecclesiastes and described the moment as a test from God while asserting that God has prepared the organization to overcome the ordeal. The board credited Charlie for preparing the organization to survive great tests and pledged to carry on his vision and strengthen his work.
