Erika Kirk, speaking from her husband's Turning Point USA office on Friday evening, said Charlie had been killed because he preached a message of patriotism, faith and of God's merciful love. The evildoers responsible for my husband's assassination have no idea what they have done, Erika said."

Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot while speaking at a Utah Valley University event that began the organization’s fall campus tour. His widow, Erika Kirk, vowed that his message and mission will grow stronger, bolder and louder, and that the campus tour will continue despite his death. She framed his work as rooted in patriotism, faith and God’s merciful love, called the killing an assassination by evildoers, and warned that his mission will be unleashed across the country and world. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with the shooting; charges are expected.
