A man is dead after he was shot several times in a commercial plaza in Vaughan on Monday in what police are calling a targeted incident. The shooting happened in the area of Weston Road and Colossus Drive, according to York Regional Police. Emergency personnel were called to the scene, which was outside a business, shortly after 1 p.m. York Region Paramedics said they took the man to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An altercation at a local liquor store in Fall River on Saturday may have led to the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. In a release, the district attorney's office said that at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Fall River police received a 911 call to the area of Leonard's Package Store located at 1331 Pleasant St. for "men fighting."

Toronto police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting at an east end commercial plaza over the weekend. Police say 43-year-old Paulin Harusha died at the scene despite attempts by emergency responders to save his life. Two men were fatally shot in a Cerritos park early Sunday morning, with witnesses reporting that a hail of gunfire had erupted, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. Witnesses told sheriff's homicide investigators that at around 2:30 a.m., several vehicles were parked at the south side of the Cerritos Sports Complex and Skate Park on Bloomfield Avenue. Twenty to 25 gunshots rang out, and the vehicles fled, according to witnesses.
ANTIOCH Police on Tuesday arrested a man in connection with a fatal shooting over the weekend in Antioch. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Vallejo resident Jesus Soto, was taken into custody in Stockton, Antioch police Lt. William Whitaker said in a news release. The arrest came a day after authorities served a search warrant at a home in Vallejo. Evidence related to the fatal shooting was collected from the home and a vehicle, Whitaker said.
