The US has also criticized this move, with President Donald Trump questioning Putin's aggressive actions against civilians amid the announced ceasefire.
The Kremlin stated the ceasefire will be from 12:00 a.m. on May 8 to 12:00 a.m. on May 11, suspending all hostilities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of victory in WWII.
Andrii Kovalenko emphasized that any ceasefire that is not comprehensive is merely Russian manipulation, disguising ongoing military aggression while projecting a façade of peace.
