The LAPD is calling for public assistance in locating three young suspects involved in violent incidents against Sabrina de la Peña, a 61-year-old transgender woman. The attacks took place between April 8 and subsequent dates, occurring within and around her store in Westlake, with several actions captured on surveillance footage. The assaults included physical violence, threats to her life, and were marked by hate motivations. Amid the ongoing fear instilled by these incidents, de la Peña has urged the community to aid in identifying the perpetrators, fearing for her safety and well-being.
The LAPD stated, 'The victim rejected his advances, and he left. However, the suspect returned a short time later and pushed her to the ground.'
'I was screaming for help, but nobody around giving help to me,' Sabrina de la Peña recounted about her harrowing experience with the attackers.
Sabrina de la Peña emphasized, 'I want to ask the community to help me find those guys, help the police catch those guys. If not, they're going to kill me.'
