Aftermath Liturgy is a new play inspired by Min Kahng's personal experiences, focusing on themes of sexual identity and evangelical Christianity. The play includes live music and encourages audience participation. It is commissioned by Contemporary Asian Theater Scene (CATS), which supports AAPI artists in Silicon Valley. This work follows Kahng's previous productions, such as Happy Pleasant Valley and The Four Immigrants. A discussion and reception will occur after the performance, scheduled for May 2 at Wesley United Methodist Church in San Jose.
