A shooting occurred outside Sepulveda Middle School when a 13-year-old boy allegedly opened fire, wounding a 17-year-old. The incident happened as the older teen approached the school to pick up a sibling. The victim was shot in the thigh and taken to the hospital. The suspected shooter remains at large, and the firearm was recovered nearby. Students described a panic-filled scene, prompting a lockdown at the school while police investigated the area.
