Built in 1959 and known as the William Greene Residence, the 3,537-square-foot home was designed by Beverly Hills architect David Freedman and has since been renovated.
A restored fireplace in the living room is a particularly good example of this new-old balancing act. It's set into a rock wall that extends outside through a floor-to-ceiling glass pane.
