Boy, 13, in court over double stabbing at school
"He entered the premises first of all, knocked on a classroom door and then hid along the side of the wall. Child C opened the classroom door and the defendant sprayed him directly in the face and once inside the classroom he stabbed in the neck child A."
"The defendant had armed himself with an aerosol of insect spray and a kitchen knife, and positioned his mobile phone to record events."
"The defendant then allegedly left the classroom and moments later attacked another child in the playground in the presence of others, stabbing him in the neck. He then ran away and was undetected for about three hours before being apprehended by police."
A 13-year-old boy faced court proceedings at the Old Bailey following an alleged attack at Kingsbury High School in Brent, north-west London. The teenager is accused of two counts of attempted murder and unlawfully administering a noxious substance. According to prosecutors, he armed himself with insect spray and a kitchen knife, positioning his mobile phone to record events. He sprayed one student in the face, then stabbed two others in the neck—one inside a classroom and another in the playground in front of witnesses. The defendant fled and evaded detection for approximately three hours before police apprehended him. He faces additional charges for possessing a knife on school premises without lawful authority. A plea hearing was scheduled for 3 July, and he was remanded into custody.
