Family 'deeply concerned' about missing boy, 13
"As a family, we are deeply concerned for Abdul's safety and are asking for the public's help in locating him."
"Abdul should be spending Christmas Day with his family, like any other 13-year-old boy."
"We are increasingly concerned for his welfare, particularly as temperatures drop, and want to see him home and safe."
A 13-year-old boy named Abdul has been missing since 13 December after leaving his family home in Islington, north London, wearing a black tracksuit and white trainers. Extensive police inquiries have not located him and officers believe he could be in Hounslow, west London. The family and police are increasingly concerned for his welfare as temperatures drop and Christmas approaches. The father appealed to the public for help in locating Abdul. Members of the public who see him are asked to contact 999 immediately and quote reference 8067/13DEC.
