Met Eireann issues Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for three counties

""It will be slightly cooler with highs of 12 to 16C and light southerly breezes," Mr Murphy said."
"The showers will continue on Saturday night, most likely in Ulster and Connacht, but they will generally die out."
Counties Leitrim, Donegal, and Sligo are experiencing thunderstorms until 6pm Saturday, with warnings for lightning, power outages, and poor travel conditions. The Bank Holiday weekend will feature mixed weather, including rain and possible thunderstorms, alongside some sunny spells. Saturday is expected to be cloudy with scattered showers, particularly in the western regions. Temperatures will range from 12 to 16C, with light southerly breezes. Showers are likely to continue into Saturday night, especially in Ulster and Connacht, with temperatures dropping to between 5 and 10C.
