U of Utah Partners With Institution in Occupied West Bank

The agreement allows for faculty and student exchanges but has raised ethical concerns given the location's disputed status under international law. Faculty, including Michael Christopher Low, expressed disappointment over not being consulted, highlighting the fragile nature of academic partnerships amidst ongoing geopolitical conflicts, particularly with Israel's current situation regarding Hamas.

As far as I know, the faculty who learned of it learned of it from the press, from The Jerusalem Post, which is probably not ideal.
