Following the massive success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, one of the next high-profile video game adaptations for the silver screen is the Minecraft movie from Warner Bros.
Director Jared Hess said in an interview that when he took the job, he believed there was a 'fun, ridiculous movie' to be made out of Minecraft.
A plot synopsis floating around the internet suggests the story could involve a young girl and her unlikely group of friends battling against the evil Ender Dragon in the Minecraft movie.
