Activision's recent announcement of the re-release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 has generated questions surrounding gameplay structure, particularly whether the two-minute time limit from the original THPS 3 will return. Developer Iron Galaxy clarified that while both games will include a shared feature set with timed objectives, the re-release will not replicate the Career mode format of Pro Skater 4, which allowed free exploration. The new THPS 3 + 4 will also offer Free Skate, Speed Run, and Single Session modes, with Free Skate mode not permitting the completion of challenges found in Career mode.
