NASHUA, N.H. -- Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, say multiple people were shot at a country club Saturday evening. Police said in a social media post that video surveillance confirmed there was only shooter, who has been detained. Earlier, police said two armed suspects fled the scene of the shooting and that one was at-large.

Around 6:18 a.m., police say officers responded to a stabbing victim off Eisenhower Drive. Police say when officers arrived, they encountered a suspect, and shot and killed them. Tey did not say why officers opened fire or if the suspect had a weapon. Police say the officer was not injured. Warren Parinas lives next door, he said he heard the gunshots.
