2 weeks agoI booked basic economy flights with Delta and Alaska Airlines. One was clearly better for coach passengers.
Delta's basic economy ticket cost $175 and included one carry-on bag, but did not accrue miles or allow for seat reservation. A switch to an emptier flight was made at the gate.
