I was so looking forward to using this new bike lane to ride with my friends who only ride on protected areas, but after riding there yesterday, I would only take experienced riders through that slip turn.

Tearing out portions of the Bedford Avenue bike lane will only make our streets more dangerous for everyone who uses them, including children.

The city improperly, irrationally, without proper legal notice and in an abuse of discretion announced on Friday, June 13, 2025 that it would remove the upgraded bicycle lane.

The ruling allows the Department of Transportation to proceed with a bike lane in Blissville, crucial for community safety and improving cycling conditions in the area.

The project corridor is located within the 16th and Valencia Street Post-Fire Historic District, an area of recognized cultural and architectural significance. CEQA mandates aesthetic evaluations for projects in designated historic areas to ensure that changes do not compromise their integrity.
