Amaury Guichon creates intricate chocolate replicas of video game characters, including Mario, Pikachu, and Onyxia from World of Warcraft.
Chocolate artist Chris Ford's whimsical creations - once available exclusively online and to celebrities - are now accessible at his West Hollywood pop-up shop. The Butter, Love & Hardwork space features themed, seasonal chocolate designs inspired by holidays and special occasions, from Valentine's roses to Easter eggs. Beyond chocolates, the shop now offers pastries, coffee drinks and a chocolate vending machine, with plans for a dessert tasting menu.
At first, Ed Ruscha's collaboration with the Los Angeles-based boutique chocolatiers andSons might seem like an unusual pairing. Until, that is, you remember that Ruscha is the creator of the fragrant, ephemeral Chocolate Room installation from 1970, which was more recently re-created for his retrospective "Ed Ruscha / Now Then" at the Museum of Moden Art (2023) and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (2024).
