Conan O'Brien is a singular and outstanding American humorist. His work, deeply rooted in close listening and keen observation, creates joyful connections between and among ideas and people. I look forward to sharing the stage with him in Tercentenary Theatre later this year. Harvard is tremendously fortunate to call him one of our own.

The single biggest points-accruing day in Vulture's Movies Fantasy League comes at the midpoint of awards season ahead of the actual Oscars on March 15, hosted by Conan O'Brien. If you weren't lucky enough to attend this year's Cannes or Sundance Film Festivals, the first day of TIFF is for you. The festival often features the best films from those earlier fests, so I broke the seal bright and early and braved the rain for Mary Bronstein's stressful but rewarding If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. The film got some of the best reviews at Sundance in January.
