The Pavilion Library of the Gamboa Quilombo was built from construction workshops, in the model of an experimental site, as part of the Common Housing project_Phase 1: Ground, funded by the Technical Assistance for Social Interest Housing program of the Architecture and Urbanism Council of Rio de Janeiro (ATHIS CAU RJ), focusing on the dissemination of architectural culture.
The ZKU, Center for Art and Urbanistics, was established in 2012 with the conversion of a former freight station in Berlin Moabit. Its highly diverse program includes not only art, urban research, and various music events but also urban strategies, lectures, cinema, neighborhood markets, and much more. The available space soon became insufficient for the growing range of activities.
The LEGOLAND resort in Shanghai, China, spans 318,000 square meters, featuring eight themed areas, over 75 rides, and thousands of LEGO models made from more than 85 million LEGO bricks.
