It's the season of transitional weather, which means fall is right around the corner. Fortunately, swapping out your lightweight pajamas and linens for thicker blankets and sheets doesn't have to be a challenge, thanks to The Company Store. Through September 22, the retailer is hosting a huge Fall Comfort Sale, where you can save up to 30% on cozy bedding and bath essentials.
Video game files sizes have gotten ridiculous. As time goes on, they continue to balloon to astronomical levels that are frankly unreasonable. This is especially common among western AAA developers. Just this year, we saw Oblivion: Remastered reach a size of over 120GB. I don't even want to think about just how much space Grand Theft Auto VI is going to take up.
Prong one: new items. Target is debuting more than 20,000 new items for holiday shoppers, many priced at $5 and most priced under $20. In a news release, the chain announced that is selling twice as many holiday items as last year, and more than half of those are Target exclusives. Among the items for sale this year, the store highlighted pop-culture collaborations (Stranger Things, Wicked: For Good), as well as fashion, beauty gifts, Wondershop brand holiday decor and hundreds of exclusive toys.
Apple's M4 CPU is at the heart of both versions of this miniaturized desktop, with 10 cores each for the CPU and GPU. Our reviewer Brenda Stolyar had no complaints about the performance, noting that it handled multiple browser tabs, chat programs, and other apps without lagging or slowing down. That's good news, because the memory isn't upgradeable by the user later.
Thursday, Sept. 18 is National Cheeseburger Day, giving restaurant chains the opportunity to ask, "Do you want BOGOs with that?" Several restaurants that specialize in burgers have buy-one-get-one offers or other discounts that cut the price of a sandwich down to as low as $4. Some include fries. There's even a plant-based option. Here are some deals announced by restaurant chains on their websites, in social media or in news releases. Most of them are good on Sept. 18 only.
Here are the week's best deals, including a solar-powered dash cam, Nothing earbuds, and five other must-see discounts. It's September, and many among us are dealing with back to school, and anticipating the colder weather that's on its way (at least, if you live in the northern climes). This, plus a somewhat fraught political atmosphere, means that you might be looking for reliable, affordable ways to escape the doldrums.
It's tough shopping for organic bedding. If you don't know your way around the certification lingo, you might buy something that has just organic materials but doesn't use an organic process or chemicals to make the bedding you end up sleeping on. One of our favorite brands that checks all the boxes is Naturepedic, which makes some of our favorite organic mattresses and organic sheets.
Forecasts may be cooling down, but Labor Day sales are heating up fast. Plenty of stores are dropping deals ahead of the long weekend, but I'd recommend making Pottery Barn your first stop. The high-end home retailer is offering up to 60% off tons of its most popular furniture and decor for Labor Day (additional discounts may pop up, too!)- which is kind of a big deal because Pottery Barn pieces, while exceptionally made, are pricey (but worth it) investments.
While you don't need an excuse to upgrade your current travel bag, we have a great one for you. Target's Labor Day sale includes major markdowns on crossbody bags, backpacks, and luggage, complete with all the bells and whistles. This means you can secure first-class pieces starting at $13, but not for much longer. The retailer is offering up to 78 percent off select travel bags, but only through the weekend.
The brand delivers every damn time. You just can't beat its workwear denim, our favorite relaxed T-shirt, and that perfect Detroit jacket you've seen on every celeb you can think of. One of the best things about the brand is that it's always involved in the Amazon sales. This time a bunch of the essential picks, ideal for fall days ahead, are on discount.
The Legend of Zelda and Street Fighter 6 Amiibo figures that launched alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 are steeply discounted at Amazon and GameStop. All four Tears of the Kingdom Sages are on sale for $20 each, down from $30. The trio of Street Fighter 6 characters are also available for $20, but these are 50% discounts, since each one retails for an eye-watering $40. Fans can also snag the GameStop-exclusive Street Fighter 6 Amiibo Card Starter Set for $20 (was $40).
Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, and while the prospect of cooler weather and shorter days can be a tough adjustment, at least there is always a great selection of deals to combat the post-summer blues. You'll have to wait until September 1st to celebrate the actual holiday, sure, but in the meantime, we've gone ahead and rounded up the best discounts you can get so far on a variety of Verge-approved gadgets and goods, from earbuds to the latest e-readers.
Don't get it twisted: the end of summer is still weeks away. However, this has not deterred Billy Reid - menswear king of the south and maker of our EIC's favorite shirt, offering elevated staples designed south of the Mason-Dixon - from kicking off their annual Summer Sale. With hundreds of versatile styles, ranging from polos to waxed chore coats to suit separates, seriously discounted, its not to be missed...and that was before the brand announced and extra 25% off stock with code EXTRA25.
The Summer Sale offers various clothing items for summer activities, including the Endless Pants, lightweight T-shirts, and spacious crossbody bags, with discounts up to 81 percent.
