The NHL 26 Deluxe Edition features the Tkachuk hockey family on the cover. The Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk and Senators' Brady Tkachuk appear alongside their father, the legendary power forward Keith Tkachuk, beneath bright lights on a hazy skating rink. What EA hasn't previously disclosed is that it employed generative AI tools to help with the creation of the $100 version's promotional art.

"The decision to offer a premium content update for F1® 25 is part of a strategic reset for the F1® Franchise," says a new update on the EA website. "In 2027, a new game will be released that looks, feels, and plays differently, delivering more gameplay choices." This will mark the first time Codemasters has not released a new F1 game each year since 2009, when it first started producing F1 games.

Next year, instead of a new game, the company will opt to release a paid expansion for F1 25 as part of "a strategic reset for the F1 Franchise," EA says. The next full F1 game, a "reimagined" experience, will arrive in 2027. The 2026 DLC for F1 25 is a "premium content update" that will "align with the sport's major changes for the 2026 season, bringing fans new cars, sporting regulations, teams, and drivers," according to EA's press release.

Ovechkin is back up to 90 overall, one year after dropping into the 80s (89) in the video game franchise for the first time in his career. The legendary winger followed up the digital disrespect by posting 44 goals in 65 games during his age-39 season, breaking Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record along the way.
