The exhibit "Past as Prologue: The Last Decade of Furniture Design by Ray and Charles Eames (1968-1978)" focuses on office furniture designed for the white-collar workforce, emphasizing modularity and visual authority.

The pyramid was the revolutionary kind of thing that was happening here. I want people to come and see, for those who remember to come and see and remember what happened and give a glimpse of the history of what was here before the pyramid existed.

Lynnette Vega explained that this exhibit allows artists to showcase their work, stating, "This is an opportunity for these artists to have their work really displayed and looked at and also to bring art to the council chambers."
