The collision happened around 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 20 near Shell Boulevard and Bounty Drive, according to the Foster City Police Department. Officers arrived within minutes and found the e-bicyclist. The driver, however, had already left the scene. Paramedics treated the teen at the scene and took him to an area hospital for additional medical care.

"400 pounds is at least several trash cans worth... that's how much that we get every day when the geese are present," said Foster City Park and Recreation Director Derek Schweigart.
