The SF First Thursday Art Walk makes 27+ galleries available late night to the public for an art walk every first Thursday from 6-10 pm. This is not a bar crawl. Each location is either a traditional gallery or a retail space with room dedicated to fine art. Occasionally there are special events to showcase local independent artists along with food trucks and more. Originally the William Randolph Hearst printing plant built in the 1920's, The Box SF is now home to two floors of premier event space, as well as an antique printing & vintage advertising mercantile modeled after an 1850's country store. These monthly events consist of Saturday - Sunday Art Sale with FREE public entry.
