Likely in response to the hubbub surrounding the AI-generated banner, KosmicznaPluskwa, a GOG forums user who appears to be a graphic artist working at the company, posted a lengthy response on the store's forums on January 26. And while KosmicznaPluskwa made it clear they aren't a spokesperson for GOG, the artist confirmed that the image people were speculating was machine-created was indeed generated completely using AI tools, something that upset the artist.

The Resident Evil Classic Bundle includes the first three mainline games, Resident Evil HD Remaster, and the prequel Resident Evil 0. Like other GOG releases, each game in this package is DRM-free, and numerous improvements have been made to each one. Alongside updates to make them compatible with modern Windows operating systems, the games include several language localizations, new graphical rendering options, controller support, and cloud save support.

With the restoration of missing sound effects, new rendering options, and various crash issues addressed, this new PC port revitalizes Breath of Fire 4 for modern players.

GOG congratulated Bethesda on the game's launch, expressing a desire for Oblivion Remastered on their platform for a DRM-free experience.
