Aman is expanding its luxury hospitality presence with a new project in Texas's Hill Country, featuring a hotel and residences.
InterContinental Hotels Group, owner of Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, and Hotel Indigo, reported robust revenue and profit growth for 2025, driven by a record hotel rollout and strategic acquisitions. The group opened 443 new hotels over the past year - adding more than 65,000 rooms - and completed its acquisition of the European hotel brand Ruby. Financially, IHG posted total revenue of $5.19 billion (£3.8 billion), up 5% from 2024, while operating profits rose 15% to $1.2 billion (£880 million).
Mountain House, which is home to the new accommodations, unveils four room categories: Forest King Rooms come with a view of the pines; Mountain King Rooms face tree-framed slopes; and Mountain Studio Suites have loft-style layouts and wide views over Windham Mountain. The Pine Suite links a Forest King and a Mountain King to form a spacious accommodation that works well for families or groups. Guests also have access to a new wood-barrel sauna.
The expansion would see a new three-storey building being constructed A popular hotel located in the heart of Kilkenny city looks set to expand with a planning application submitted to Kilkenny County Council. The four-star Langton's Hotel on John Street Lower in Kilkenny city is seeking permission to extend the hotel by building 40 additional new bedrooms.
