An inant girl was found dead in a duffel bag stuffed in a closet of her family's Brooklyn apartment - and her mother has been arrested for hiding the body, police said Monday. Gynae Kendall, 25, was charged Sunday with concealment of a human corpse. Her month-old daughter, Adonnys Kendall, was found dead in the duffel bag inside the closet when police at 7:30 p.m. Saturday responded to the family's East Flatbush apartment on Veronica Place near Beverly Road.

A 1-month-old baby was found dead in her mother's Brooklyn apartment on Saturday after police responded to a 911 call from the infant's grandmother, sources said. Police were called to a wellness check at an apartment in Flatbush at 8:26 p.m. on Saturday night, authorities said. When they arrived, they found a 1-month-old baby girl unconscious and unresponsive, cops said.

Police have launched a murder investigation after the death of a three-month-old baby boy. Atijus Elertaite, was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition, after police officers found him at a property in St John's Chase, March, in Cambridgeshire, just after 11am on Saturday 3 January. The baby died five days later on 8 January. A post-mortem examination has revealed the preliminary cause of death was a head injury, pending further medical investigation, police said.

The TV channel Arise News reported that solicitors acting for the couple served Euracare hospital, a private medical facility, with a legal notice dated 10 January which asked for CCTV footage, electronic monitoring data and the toddler's medical records within seven days. The notice alleged there were lapses during the child's admission and lack of basic resuscitation equipment at the facility amounting to medical negligence.

Mohamed Abdisamad underwent a non-therapeutic male circumcision on 12 February 2023, performed by a circumciser who had been recommended to his parents and requested by them to perform the procedure on their son, according to the West London Coroner's report. The boy began showing symptoms of illness three to four days after the procedure and was taken to Hillingdon Hospital by ambulance on 19 February 2023.

A 15-month-old baby boy who died under unclear circumstances was found in a bathroom alongside his mother, who had slit her wrists in an apparent suicide attempt inside their Queens home on Monday, cops said. HOLLISTER An investigation is underway into the unexpected death of a 9-month-old infant in Hollister, police said. The Hollister Police Department said it received an emergency call around 7:50 a.m. Thursday, reporting an unresponsive infant with no pulse and no signs of breathing. Officers arrived at the undisclosed address to find the infant unconscious, not breathing and without a pulse, police said. The infant was taken to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

The prosecution alleges Victoria died from hypothermia or was smothered while co-sleeping in a 'flimsy' tent after they took her off-grid in a bid to stop her from being taken into care.

The medical examiner clarified that although the infant had injuries from a dog bite, these occurred post-mortem, indicating the baby did not die from the mauling.

"I am finished with my testimony... jurors could draw inferences from my decision to cut short my evidence."

During the trial at Old Bailey, Constance Marten chose to stop her cross-examination by prosecutor Joel Smith, who faced backlash over his questioning approach.

Jurors at the Old Bailey were informed that Mark Gordon will represent himself in his retrial over the neglect leading to the death of his infant daughter.
