Brooklyn shooting at apartment building leaves woman seriously wounded | amNewYork

Law enforcement sources said the shooting happened just after 8:45 a.m. on Aug. 26 at 399 St. John's Place in Prospect Heights. Officers from the 77th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the shooting, found the victim, a 49-year-old woman, with multiple gunshot wounds to her leg and arm. EMS rushed her to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
