If the ultimate objective is to ensure forever that Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, I think we have cracked that problem through these negotiations by agreeing [on] a very important breakthrough that has never been achieved any time before. The single most important achievement, I believe, is the agreement that Iran will never ever have nuclear material that will create a bomb.

Al Busaidi, a key mediator in ongoing talks between the US and Iran, met with Vance in Washington, DC on Friday. He said the nuclear negotiations have so far achieved significant, important, and unprecedented progress, according to the Oman News Agency.

Al-Bousaidi described the talks as "very serious" and noted that both Iran and the U.S. "clarified their thinking and identified areas for possible progress."
