At a moment like this, New Yorkers need representatives with the imagination to offer bold new ideas, the experience to get big things done, and the courage to take on the toughest fights. Everything about this is weird and uncomfortable I'm saying the guy got shot three months ago, and she walks out to a pyrotechnic display and then she goes We're going to elect JD Vance.' It's weird that that's where her head is at. It's difficult for many people to relate to. It's not relatable for people that talked about how Hollywood isn't relatable and how Hollywood is out of touch this looks a lot like Hollywood to most people.
I will be voting for Andrew Cuomo, not because he's perfect, but because he's capable of leading the largest city in America while his opponent Zohran Mamdani, a 33-year-old with almost no work experience, is a dangerous ideologue who will continue to fan the flames of anti-Jewish hatred. While I urge everyone to vote their conscience, it's important that we be honest about who Mamdani is, what he stands for, and sadly how some within the Jewish community have tried to make Mamdani seem kosher.
Villaraigosa and Bass, both Democrats, have known each other for 52 years and often crossed paths while working on advocacy issues in Los Angeles before either held elected office. The longtime allies have a history of endorsing each other when running for office. Calling Villaraigosa her brother from another mother, Bass on Tuesday, Sept. 9, said she decided to endorse him the minute Antonio Villaraigosa decided to step in the race for governor in July 2024.
