Brown was charged with home invasion, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over age 60, kidnapping, witness intimidation, armed assault in a dwelling, armed burglary, breaking and entering in a building at night, larceny of a motor vehicle, and larceny over $1,200.
Stuart Andrew Westwood, 38, of no fixed abode, entered the supermarket on Millbrook Road West and began filling a carrier bag with products on 21 January. He immediately became aggressive as staff approached and challenged him, and took several needles from his pocket and began threatening the shop workers.

Kwame Walker, 25, pleaded no contest to second degree robbery and was sentenced on Jan. 6, court records show. He was transferred to state prison a month later, and was given 115 days worth of credit for time spent in jail, court records show. Walker is a local rapper who uses the stage name Kwame Kayda and is also the CEO of an entertainment company known as Cold Hearted Entertainment, according to authorities.
Officers with Lafayette police made the arrest about 1:20 p.m. after police had been alerted to the robbery in Alamo, according to a statement from Contra Costa Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jimmy Lee. The sheriff's office has jurisdiction over Alamo and contracts out with Lafayette police. The two men - a 23-year-old Antioch man and 20-year-old man without a residence listed - remained in custody on Thursday in lieu of $200,000 and $150,000 bail, respectively, according to jail records. Lee said officers arrested each man on suspicion of two counts of robbery, attempted robbery and conspiracy.
A jailed drill rapper who escaped from custody twice within a week has apparently posted a video online taunting the police. Daniel Boakye, 21, fled from Lewisham Hospital in south-east London on Sunday afternoon after being taken there for medical treatment. Five days earlier, on 10 February, he had also escaped from prison guards at West Middlesex University Hospital before being recaptured by Met Police officers the following day.
The suspect - who wore a black mask and bright-red puffer coat - approached the 25-year-old victim on board a northbound N train approaching 86th Street in Gravesend around 2:20 a.m. Saturday and demanded his wallet and some money, police said. When the victim did not comply, the perp slashed him multiple times in the head, face, back and knee, authorities said.
The suspects two Vallejo men, a Pittsburg man and a San Leandro man were charged with a Jan. 14 incident where plainclothes officers allegedly witnessed the foursome leave a smoke shop, rob someone of an Acura, then drive to a gas station and commit an armed robbery. At that point, uniformed officers showed up and arrested the men, according to court records.
BROOKLYN, NY - An NYPD recruit is facing multiple criminal charges after being arrested in Brooklyn late Sunday afternoon, police said. Eray Celiksoy, 21, was arrested Sunday around 7:40 p.m. in Brooklyn's 61st Precinct, which covers the southern part of the borough, including Kings Bay, Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay and Manhattan Beach, according to the NYPD. OAKLAND A city resident has been arrested and charged with using a pistol to beat a woman and rob her of $400 after paying her for sex, according to court records. Alexander Stovall, 43, was charged with robbery and assault with a firearm on Jan. 26. Authorities allege that nine days before the case was filed, Stovall met a woman on the 700 block of International Boulevard, an area known for prostitution, and paid her $200.
According to police sources, the victim, a 15-year-old boy, entered the Carey Gardens NYCHA apartment building located at 2832 West 23rd St. in Coney Island just before 5 p.m. on Jan. 17. The boy had scheduled a meet-up over social media to sell his jacket. Instead, sources said, he walked into a trap. Upon arriving at the location, cops said, four suspects ambushed the teen, demanding all of his belongings and threatening to stab him.
