Skydiver Drops iPhone from 14,000 Feet, Finds It Perfectly Intact

I brought my phone in my wingsuit just in case the others couldn't find me when I landed. I left my pocket open, and from my helmet camera, you can see it sticking out.

I've always been curious to go skydiving and finally tried it at 60. I enjoyed it, but I won't go again.

Jumping out of a plane was like nothing else I'd ever done - or will do again. It was exhilarating, but the experience is one I won't repeat.

Mass. man seriously injured in Maine skydiving incident

Witnesses reported that the skydiver's free fall and parachute deployment appeared normal, with no signs of equipment malfunction. However, at about 300 feet, Silva stopped actively controlling his descent, which led to an extremely hard impact upon landing.
