Every project is an opportunity to go further than what is initially thought possible. This loft conversion and top-to-bottom reconfiguration transformed a dark, cramped one-bedroom apartment into a bright, multi-level family home.

The Five Four tiny home by Designer Eco Tiny Homes showcases intentional design in compact living, accommodating four people within a mere 5.4-meter footprint.

Having a laundry room upstairs certainly ticks a lot of boxes, like avoiding the hassle of dragging heavy laundry baskets downstairs, bringing convenience right where it's needed.

Removing a wall allowed for the fixtures to spread out more.

In designing the compact 45 sqm apartment, the architects focused on maximizing comfort while ensuring aesthetics are not compromised, offering five versatile sleeping places.

"There were three nearly identical apartments for sale in the building at the time: One was recently renovated, but not necessarily my vibe; one was unlivable without a full gut renovation; and this apartment was somewhere in the middle - immediately livable, but definitely needing a fairly big renovation," Larry explains.
