Residents expressed frustration over disturbances from loud music and barking dogs since the arrival of at least eight caravans on Wrythe Green. Local resident Jeff noted music played until 10pm and continued the next day, contributing to local upset as this situation has not occurred in years. Children’s toys and rubbish now litter the green, and Jeff expressed concerns about propane gas canisters left exposed, posing a fire risk. Sutton Council stated the removal could take up to two weeks, further aggravating the local community as they worry about cleanup costs.
The ongoing changes to housing and community spaces across Sutton Borough reflect a diverse range of planning applications, aiming to enhance residential options and architectural layouts.

I'm very unhappy with the council's plans to knock down the St Nicholas House which is a popular part of Sutton. The council ate single handedly changing the face of Sutton, how can this be done by a local council and not care about how residents feel about their area. Please do not knock down this centre, please halt with your numerous new builds which are ruining Sutton.

Concerns have been raised that while the council's intention is to increase safety, the reality may be more complex as local drivers accustomed to the existing limits may struggle with the changes.
