Uber expands its app to include hotel bookings, partnering with Expedia to offer over 700,000 hotel properties worldwide.
Running daily between Chicago and the East Coast, Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited travels through a geographically diverse stretch of the country. Passengers follow the southern shoreline of Lake Michigan, then head east through the industrial Midwest and into upstate New York, where the route runs parallel to stretches of the Mohawk River and the historic Erie Canal corridor.
The Scottish capital is just as much about its craft and its soul as it is about its lodgings. But earlier this week, some golfers left fans perplexed for the fashion choices they made at the event's kick-off gala. Team USA was spotted in - checks notes - dark suits and bright white sneakers. For some sartorial critics, it also didn't help that many opted for open collars instead of ties. Meanwhile, their counterparts across the pond wore traditional black tie attire. The golf journalist Matt Vincenzi was among the critics, writing on X, "This sneakers with suit s-t has to end, gentleman."
The living room features tadelakt walls, Berber poufs, Fassie ceramics, and soft lighting from hand-cut lanterns, while the dining room offers a view of a classic tiled courtyard, perfect for savoring mint tea or a quiet breakfast.
