The Napa Valley Vine Trail provides an alternative travel route from Vallejo to Calistoga, enabling visitors to enjoy breathtaking vineyard views. Open to the public, nearly 30 miles of the trail have been developed, culminating in a recent link to the Vallejo ferry terminal, facilitating car-free access to Wine Country. The project aims for full connectivity by 2028, promoting eco-friendly travel. Visitors can explore Napa Valley through biking or walking, enhancing their experience with the region's renowned wine and dining offerings while focusing on safety and sustainability.

By March 2025, the project achieved a significant milestone: linking the Vine Trail to the ferry terminal in Vallejo, allowing for car-free access to Wine Country.
