Thick or thin, iPads have consistently had the same battery life (10 hours) and Apple has not strayed from that benchmark in 14 years...Despite new chips and screens...they're still expected to last the same amount of time as a tablet that's multiple generations old...
Improving battery life on the iPad would have a much bigger impact on how people use their tablet...people would clamor for a longer-lasting iPad...
