"“According to Gurman, the Camera app is also getting a new ‘Siri’ mode for using Apple's visual intelligence features. iOS 27 will also reportedly include some design changes in other apps, particularly Siri, which Gurman notes will be part of the Dynamic Island in iOS 27.”"
The Camera app in iOS 27 is expected to become fully customizable. Users will be able to pick their own set of controls, called widgets, that run along the top of the interface. The default widget set will remain available, and users can switch to an advanced array of options or choose their own items. A new Add Widgets tray will offer widgets grouped into basic, manual, and settings categories. Widgets will also vary by capture mode. The Camera app will gain a new Siri mode that uses Apple’s visual intelligence features. iOS 27 may also change Siri’s presentation through Dynamic Island, add an AI assistant app and more third-party AI integrations, and redesign Image Playground, the Safari start page, and the Weather app’s Conditions section.
