The family of a 16-year-old boy killed in SoHo says he was breaking up a fight when he was shot. Loved ones remembered the victim, Makhai Brown, and pleaded for an end to gun violence.
Brown was an outstanding high school student and basketball player with ambitions of playing college ball. His aunt, Fatima Brown, described him as a gentleman who loved school and sports.
