In addition to the language, Chinese New Yorkers have their particular needs when it comes to technology. For example, many immigrants want to learn how to use WeChat, one of the most popular Chinese social media apps, to stay in touch with their family members back in China, said Marco DiGirolomo, the director of in-person programs at Older Adults Technology Services, also known as Senior Planet, from AARP.
