Coming off an MLK Classic loss to No. 1 Salesian at De La Salle, Riordan did what good teams do. The San Francisco school bounced back the next night to win in overtime at then-No. 4 Archbishop Mitty, prevailed at home against Bellarmine and then won a Crush in the Valley showcase game on Saturday night against Southern California powerhouse Centennial-Corona. Riordan and Mitty traded spots in this week's rankings. Riordan is now fourth, Mitty sixth. Ygnacio Valley also had a superb week, winning four games in dominating fashion, including one over then-No. 14 Clayton Valley Charter. YV beat El Cerrito, Concord, Clayton Valley and Northgate by an average of 32.8 points. The Wolves jumped from 19th to 10th in this week's Top 20.
