The event was hosted by the Bergen/Passaic Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) and Teaneck Public Schools.
She was inspired to begin the annual program after the 2016 passing of her cousin, late journalist and DSU alumnus Michael J. Feeney.
