The Dodgers accomplished a rare feat Monday that no MLB team has achieved this season, not striking out in a game. This was the first strikeout-free game by Dodgers hitters since 2006.
Outfielder Kiké Hernández expressed surprise at the lack of strikeouts, initially thinking the strikeout meter at Chase Field was broken in the ninth inning. He later confirmed with the hitting coach that indeed, the team did not strike out.
