In what has become an annual tradition, nominations have now opened for the American Legal Technology Awards, which honor exceptional achievement in various aspects of legal technology.
A new award category this year is the Artificial Intelligence Award, highlighting innovation in applying AI to the law. Another new category is the journalism award, recognizing journalists contributing to legal innovation.
The awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Oct. 6 at the Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas, on the eve of the Clio Cloud Conference. ALTA will host Genius Panels on AI, access to justice, past winners, and the state of industry in May, June, July, and September respectively.
Nominations open in April, close by July 31, finalists announced in August, and the awards gala held in August, with early bird ticket pricing at $175 until July 31, increasing to $250 afterward. The event is separate from the Clio conference.
