A 57-year-old Russian male was arrested after stabbing two Ukrainian soldiers in Bavaria, Germany. The possibility of a politically motivated motive is being considered by the investigators.
The two Ukrainian soldiers, Vicheslav Bezuhlyi (23) and Volodymr Kozin (36), were receiving medical rehabilitation care when they were fatally stabbed in the neck at a shopping center in Murnau.
German authorities found the victims with stab wounds at the shopping center, with one dying at the scene and the other succumbing to injuries at a nearby hospital.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed the tragic incident, stating that the victims were military personnel receiving medical rehabilitation in Germany.
