A man carrying a sword was arrested after reports a vehicle was crashed into a house... people were stabbed shortly before 7 am... the suspect allegedly attacked members of the public and two police officers.
Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan said: 'This must have been a terrifying incident for those concerned... the wider community will be feeling shock and alarm.'
Wes Streeting, the MP for Ilford North, wrote: 'A critical incident has been declared in Hainault... The police, ambulance service, and fire brigade are responding.'
