
"A video that's gotten thousands of views on social media shows the moment a woman discovered a stranger in the back of a Waymo car. The incident happened on Monday in Los Angeles. A woman said she ordered the driverless ride for her daughter and when it arrived, they noticed a man in the trunk. "Why the [expletive] are you in the trunk?" the woman is heard asking the stranger. " ... I'm trying to figure this out," the man responds."
"Our sister station KABC-TV reached out to Waymo and a spokesperson issued the following statement: "We're committed to keeping our riders safe and earning the trust of the communities where we operate. This experience was unacceptable, and we are actively implementing changes to address this." Waymo said their rider support team assisted the rider during the incident, who told them they were OK."
